Joey Bowen

I've been working in the financial services industry for about two years now, and I absolutely love helping our clients achieve their financial goals. Before joining the family business, I worked at Albemarle County Fire Rescue, where I developed a strong sense of community and service. I obtained my Associate's Degree of General Science in 2020 and my Life, Health, and Annuity license in 2023.

Born and raised in Charlottesville, VA, I have a deep appreciation for this area and its people. I attended Western Albemarle High School, where I played football, and later continued my football career at Hampden Sydney College for a year before transferring to Piedmont Virginia Community College. My time playing football taught me the value of having a strong team, and Bowen Financial is one of the strongest teams I've ever been a part of.

Working with my family is a unique and rewarding experience, and I'm grateful to be part of a practice that genuinely cares about its clients. Being able to combine my passion for financial planning with my love for this community makes every day fulfilling.
